Lynford Hall Wedding Photography
Lynford Hall near Thetford is a very popular Norfolk wedding venue set near the forest in acres of its own land. It’s a great location with plenty of space. This wedding was in the planning for years. The placemats had been made out of the trunk of the couple’s first christmas tree and handcrafted by the groom (that’s planning ahead). You’ll notice the string of folded cranes. There were 1000 cranes all hand folded by the groom, one by one. Chinese legend has it that if you do this you’ll be granted one wish by the gods. You’ll also notice a strong elfin theme going on, the bride and groom loved the “Lord of the Rings”. This was not only a great wedding enjoyed by all but it was special due to all the little personal touches and crafts that had gone into making the day. Too many to list here.
Those specially made “elf shoes” were worn for the first wedding dance which the couple had practised and choreographs in the month before all the Paul McCartney’s “The Frog Chorus”. This was followed by some serious ceilidh scottish dancing with everyone joining in.
I wish Chris and Kathryn and very happy future together and I totally enjoyed photographing their wedding day at Lynford Hall, one of my favourite wedding venues. Please enjoy some of their wedding photographs.
